We are happy to welcome Jean-Pierre Labru in Linz!
Jean-Pierre Labru embarked on his Kendo journey at the age of 7 and became a member of the French national team when he was 22. In his 14 years in the national team, he became eight times European Champion in the teams competition. On the national level, he won the title of French champion five times.
In 1997, Labru showcased his skill and determination on a global scale at the World Kendo Championships (WKC). He achieved a remarkable 5th place. His admirable performance earned him the Fighting Spirit Award twice at the WKC.
Jean-Pierre Labru also served many years as a referee for the European Kendo Championships as well as World Kendo Championships.
In 2018, he was elected as the Technical Director of the European Kendo Federation (EKF).
Level: All levels are welcome. The exercises will be adapted according to the participants.

Adults: 35 Euro, free for 7th Dan
Kids/Juniors up to 16 years: 20 Euro
